Indigo has been a staple of Japanese textiles for over 1400 years - beginning as a dye for the Imperial Court, and eventually gaining popularity during the Edo Period among common people.
This limited-run shirt sports an embroidery of the Sushi Noz logo - a calligraphic interpretation of the character "Nozomu," meaning "Hope". The fabric itself is 4.3 oz. (145 GSM) 100% Combed Ringspun Cotton, and has been dyed with an indigo mineral wash.
